How are firms conducting case interviews?
As the COVID-19 situation continues its grip on the nation, I was just thinking about how firms are going about conducting their case interviews. It seems that doing things virtually would make confidentiality of cases something harder than usual to protect. Anyone have insight on what different firms will be doing this year/cycle?
I loved doing virtual interviews. Being able to do them from my home desk made me much more at ease. I never did an in-person interview so can't compare, but I had no trouble doing it virtually. I did not find it difficult to connect to the interviewers.
And they use Zoom. For confidentiality, you're required to destroy your draft papers afterwards but I guess they have no real way to check, though if they found out you broke the confidentiality agreement it would surely hurt your candidacy.
confidentiality is definitely at stake here, leaving every stone unturned is practically impossible during these times!
