How can I beat prepare for my entry level generalist position
I’m a senior in college who’s going to be starting my career as a generalist at a tech focused firm, what can I do in the coming months to best prepare myself? I want to make sure I hit the ground running.
The main things I’m doing are reading the WSJ/Economist/etc pretty religiously just to build background knowledge, getting in shape so I don’t have to worry about that as much while working, and trying to build discipline around doing focused work for extended periods of time. Would absolutely love any other suggestions though!
