Had a talk with staffing earlier and heard that direct promotes (promotion from post-undergrad role directly to post-mba role, without going to mba; also called A2A) is very rare in the office and doesn't happen every year. Staffing didn't really go into detail when I asked about the criteria beyond regular reviews.
