How is McGill MBB/Tier 2 Placement

Did some Linkedin searching, most alumni work in Montreal, New York, and Dubai/Abu Dhabi offices. On average how many grads does McGill place into MBB? I understand Ivey probably dominates in Toronto, but I'm more inclined to work in Montreal or at an international office, specifically the ME region.

^ The recruiting numbers above were for the class of 2019. I don’t specifically know numbers for McGill for their consulting in Montreal but I know they should send around 1-3 kids per firm MBB. However, I don’t know if that’s for Toronto or US or maybe even both. But those were the numbers I heard.

It's generally easier to get into the Montreal office, as McGill dominates there. In Toronto, McGill would face competition with Ivey, and to a lower extent UofT.

Of course, but McGill still does well in Toronto. Less than Ivey sure, and probably Queens, but better than UofT

McGill stateside peer institutions like UVA and UMich place about 20-25 overall, would you say McGill places a comparable number?

I know that McGill is 3rd in Canada for IB and consulting. Obviously would say Queens does a lot better than McGill and Ivey does a lot better than Queens. Even with the H1B restrictions Ivey sent 10% of their students(roughly 60-70 people) to the US mostly across high finance including management consulting. I would say McGill is an amazing school none the less and probably has a complete monopoly on Montreal recruiting. However, for Toronto and US, nothing beats Ivey and then I would say Queens would be second.

Your point definitely true in Canada, but for the Northeast, it's Ivey (slightly better placement) = McGill > Queens. OP also asked Internationally, in the Middle East & Europe Ivey/Queens have simply no name recognition. McGill is much better internationally.
