How will virtual case interviews work?
Given the current situation with work-from-home being the norm (at least in Canada), how will case interviews be held virtually over Zoom? Wouldn't students be able to use a silent calculator and have notes lying on their desk while going through the case? Assuming it's a Zoom interview and they have to look down to make notes.
Also if there is a written case/presentation component would they just remove that?
It's easy for interviewers to tell if you're cheating or not. Some calculations are intended to take a while, and if you stare at the screen typing numbers, the interviewer could probably tell. Also, having notes at an interview is like having a cheat sheet to an application-based exam; sure it's there, but if you prepared, you're probably going to end up not using it anyway.
