I think I'm becoming a tool, please help...

So I recently started my consulting internship and I slowly find myself becoming a tool. During orientation, I was drinking the firm kool aid and subconsciously nodding to everything that senior people were saying when lecturing us on some topic. I find most of my conversations with first years and older are quite superficial when I could hardly give a damn because all the conversations are so recycled. I'm trying way too hard to impress people.

I think I'm trying way to hard to fit in, anyone have tips on what to do?
