If rejected in the U.S., can I reapply in my home country?

I'm an international student and just graduated from a target school in the US. I plan to apply to consulting firms here in the Fall. My question is, if I get rejected, can I then go back to my home country and apply to those same companies? Or would the "wait two years before reapplying" rule also apply internationally?

Also, how long is the period that you have to wait before reapplying? I've heard its around 1.5 - 2 years.

One last question - do big banks also have this rule? I'm thinking BB.

Thanks!

Most of the top shops hire FT from their SA program. You can look at middle markets and boutiques and possibly lateral in after being in the industry.

If you're applying for the entry level position, many firms (especially MBB) have very structured recruiting timetables. By the time you get rejected by one office, recruiting for other offices will also be over. You might have to wait for the next year's cycle to begin. At that time, there shouldn't be any problem applying to the overseas office
