IMP: Advise on how to get a job in the Big 5 for a postgraduate engineer (M.S. in the U.S)
Hello,
I'm currently working on my Ph.D. in Material Science Engineering and I am one year into my program. Losing interest and losing motivation to continue working on my current problem statement has made me decide on quitting the program with a Masters being acquired on the way. My undergraduation major is in Chemical Engineering. What are the chances for me to get into management consulting firms (preferably the Big 5)? Could you expound on the skills that I should be able to garner withing the next one year since I will graduate by then? Please advise.
