Internships, Europe or US?

Hello everyone,

I'm planning on doing a consulting internship (hopefully with MBB) next summer. I was wondering whether I would have better chances in US or in Europe.

I'm American, studied undergrad in US, doing masters in management in Europe, and am in the process of an investment banking internship in Europe (different country than studies).

Since we're limited in choosing where we want to work, I wanted to inquire where you guys think would be better to apply. Somewhere in the US, or the European country (not UK) I'm currently doing an internship. I speak the local language 100% fluently.

In terms of personal preference, I really don't care .

Thanks everyone!

in theory yes, but I don't think as many students in Europe as in America are motivated to become Ibankers. Plus there are also the regional offices which are important in the particular country.
