Interviewing during internship etiquette

Essentially I have a final round on-site next week during a work day. I could feasibly be a little less available than normal and be fine, but this feels a little scummy/risky. Should I simply tell my supervisor what I'm doing? Or maybe use PTO to just skip the day altogether. I don't want to burn any bridges at a company/team I genuinely like, regardless of the outcome of my interview.

Don't say exactly what you're doing

Just say an excuse, you have a family event, an appointment, or the day of say you have an emergency
