Is it possible to exit to PE after 1 year?

Am at a top firm right now and not loving it at all. I've had a handful of PE informational interviews and the work seems far more interesting to me. Ever heard of anyone exiting to PE after one year rather than Y2?

To analyst positions yes and aso positions in weird situations like abroad or different size or family office etc. you reaaally can’t get too much around the structured nature of PE recruiting UNLESS u put in a decent amount of effort figuring out how to make this happen and somehow do (e.g. talking to partners and convincing them to take u or some shit).

So depends on the fund and how much you want to take this in your hands while risking making mistakes with your approxh
