LEK Offered Me Interview After Rejection
Is it normal that LEK offered me an interview after rejection?
LEK recruits on my campus. I applied to the campus recruiting portal and LEK's own website. My campus portal application was rejected but I received an interview invite for the application I submitted through LEK's website. What does this mean? Am I under the campus hiring pipeline at all?
It has several post-interview-invite recruiting activities, such as additional coffee chat and a few email interactions. I have none of those, probably because my campus application was rejected.
One thing to add: 1 day before the decision date, LEK recruiter requested me to finish my application on their website. I already did twice so I did for the 3rd time. I thought that was a signal for an interview but I got rejection the next day. However, an interview invite came 4 days after the rejection. Weird.
Anyone has the same experience?

if those geniuses aren't smart enough to sync up their systems / portals they probably won't notice anyway - Guess there's a reason why they're not MBB
Their system does have issues. I submitted the application multiple times and got 2 confirmation emails. But still, the recruiter later told me that my app was not complete lol.
