M&A Operational Due Diligence case interview - what to expect?
Hi everyone,
I was recently contacted regarding a M&A Operational Due Diligence (ODD) position. After a screening round, they now want me to do a series of case interviews to proceed further. I've never done ODD before so I'm curious as to what the cases will be like. Does anyone here have previous experience? Any input is appreciated.
Thanks!
Here's a thread for ODD not sure if its what your looking for but hope it helps.

Sorry I think this was a post on ODD for asset managers, quite different from ODD in a M&A settings. Appreciate the help though.
M&A Due Diligence (case interview) (Originally Posted: 01/28/2018)
Hi People,
I have applied for several junior openings at big fours in Europe, a few in Corporate Finance and a few in Transaction Services (DD).
I feel relatively confident to handle a Corporate Finance case interview, I know my DCFs, comps etc. Corporate valuation seems relatively straight forward. I feel less confident in a situation when faced with a due diligence case (operational, commercial and financial). I feel that these cases are less quantitative and strucutred in its nature and more about coming up with different kind of risks from assessing a memo, I.e. I have to quickly structure my thoughts and argue around the operational, commercial and financial risks from reading a short memo. This is where I tend to get a bit stressed and "stuck", which affects my performance negatively.
Do you guys have any advice on how to handle due diligence cases? Any thought processes / approaches or relevant readings on this?
Regards,
