I think you are overreacting. You made a simple mistake, which you then clarified and shared a laugh with everyone.
If the rest of the conversation went well, I would even wager that this was a positive thing. There aren't many college kids who are able to network, let alone share a laugh with employees of the firms they might be applying to. This scenario may help them remember you when it comes to selection, compared to the other identical 100 faces that they interviewed.
