Management Information Systems Major for Career in MC

Although I like the areas which my major is focused on, I always thought about MC too. Do I have a chance with MIS degree for a career in MC ? I think the bridge-like skills in my major could be helpful in terms of consultancy about managing technology etc. I also think about doing a minor in Finance for it would help. Of course the subject of major is not everything but do you think that I can have a career as an MC in prestigious firms such as McKinsey,BCG,Bain,A.T. Kearney etc. ? From the little I know about consultancy firms, your school and your gpa is important and I can easily say that my school is the most prestigious one in Turkey, and I will aply for these firm's Turkey offices. Still I think your advices will be beneficial and I am thankful for that.
