Marketing Strategy or Tech Consulting

Hi all,

I am a recent graduate from Non-target school and double majored in mathematics/finance. Unfortunately I could not land any legit management consulting gig out of school so I am stuck with 2 unrelated offers to take.

One offer is analyst role at mid size marketing strategy firm related to social media/web. I will be responsible for doing various web analytic and marketing related stuff.

Another offer is tech consulting analyst gig at large tech consulting firm (Deloitte/Accenture).

I know that none of these offer is anything related to management consulting but I want to eventually get there after going to bschool in few years. I was wondering which job opportunity would better help me land a consulting gig in future?

Any help would be appreciated!

I appreciate your response. I believe it is quite hard to transition from tech consulting into mgmt consulting so I guess I should go for the marketing role.
