Looks like no one knows but bumping just in case.
In my office the two start dates that are offered are late August and early September.
It depends highly on the office and the firm. If you have an offer already, why don't you ask the recruiter at your firm? And if you don't, well I don't see why you'd ask the question
I'm a non-MBA hire so I have no idea what the "normal" timeline for this and just wanted to check here before I go bothering people. Time to go to the source.
Post-MBA start dates range from July to January. No idea about u/g ones.
Not true. Again, it depends on the firm and office. Most bigger MBB offices (NY, Boston, Chicago, SF, etc.) will have multiple start dates. Usually there are two or three: one in July/August, one in September, one in October. Some offices/firms push back that last start date to January. So the best bet is to talk to people in the specific office where you will be working.
BCG has 3 start dates: July (not 100% sure on this one), September, January. If you opt for the January start date they'll even put you in some kind of a non-profit fellowship program where they pay you some percentage of your normal pay to work with a non-profit for 4 months or so. This is through word of mouth, so take it with a large grain of salt.
MBTO, BCG does have that non-profit program, but it has nothing to do with start date...
