MBB Greater China vs LEK Chicago

I got these two offers I’m deciding between coming out of undegrad and I really am struggling w deciding, would love any advice. Long term goal would be to end up in LA/SF.

MBB GC

pro: Can office transfer after two years into LA or SF office without recruiting again. Get to spend time with family that moved to GC, live at home, and explore a new country I haven’t really lived in. I’ve also heard that straight to MBB after graduation is like a golden experience.

con: not building US connections, office transfer not guaranteed, lower pay, terrible hours in GC, my Chinese is also just not good at all (passable but might be a challenge)

LEK

pro: new city in Chicago I can explore, pay is better, better chance at being able to transfer to à LA/SF office without issue

con: not as prestigious, might want to rerecruit or akter into MBB which is just, I rly don’t wanna case anymore.

Just fyi office transfers are hard at MBB even for US-based people. Also your chinese being bad is kind of a big deal here, does your office primarily use English or chinese / what language did you do your interviews in? MBB is hard enough already in a native language not to mention in a language you are bad at - forget transferring in two years, if you can't speak it well you may not even be at the firm in two years... just being realistic here.

I LEK Chicago is a better option for you given your priorities and honestly not sure an MBB in China is even more prestigious than US-LEK.
