(MBB London) Networking Call with a Senior Partner

Applying for FT MBB in a month and having a networking call with a Senior Partner at one of the MBBs in London (30 mins) in a few days, any ideas what to ask to make a good impression? We connected over them being a leader of one of the diversity groups so will definitely touch this topic but would welcome any suggestions. Thanks!

People love talking about themselves so you can always ask questions on their career paths, involvement with the diversity network, fav parts about the firm, etc.

One thing I would say tho is that unless you're very familiar with the industry the senior partner is in, don't waste time discussing it just because it’s likely to turn into an one-way lecture which does not help the senior partner remember you.

Another thing that I think is good to keep in mind-when you're talking to a senior partner how you present yourself is much much more important than what you say (because obviously the person you're talking to is much more experienced than you're), so I'd say the most crucial thing is to make sure you demonstrate confidence and just let your personality shine through.
