MBB London or MBB Europe

Dear WSO,

I have at this point an offer at both MBB London and a MBB office in mainland Europe (where I did an internship)? As of such my question: Is the MBB London scene more prestigious or are all offices somewhat the same in terms of prestige and exit options. In the long term I wish to work in my native country in Europe (office where I have the offer now) but does MBB London open more doors in the early career?

Thanks

You should take London. I don't know what the personal circumstances are and don't want to make you tell us but you can explain the situation and perhaps asked to be staffed on projects in that area. If the circumstances are super serious (like a dying relative) then go for Benelux but if they aren't as serious perhaps London. You can asked to be staffed on those projects, take the train home often but have the growth opportunities in London which are huge. Also, you don't have to do it forever - you can transfer after 1-2 years if things are worse when you're in London.
