MBB recruiting at the Texas schools
Looking for info on internship recruiting at the Texas Universities - UT, A&M, Rice, TCU, SMU. Who recruits on campus and where? How many summer internship spots in Dallas vs Houston? Which school and major places best? Thanks in advance for any info!
MBB is full of UT Austin kids.
Can confirm , especially in the offices near Texas.
I believe all 3 come to campus at A&M, but McKinsey pretty much never takes anyone. BCG and Bain will take 1-2 a year each.
Texas and Rice are considered targets for MBB. They go to A&M and pluck anywhere from 0 to 2 kids a year. And TCU and SMU, forget about it. Not in the same league.
Bain recruits from SMU.
This year, Bain took 2 for internships from A&M, and about 5 for FT from Mays. I'm not aware of the numbers for BCG (but they do OCR), and I do know McKinsey recruits at A&M, but pretty much doesn't hire anyone. Not sure why.
