If you're still on the internship hunt, no worries - lots of boutique investment banks wait to do their hiring until the Spring. Check-out the list of banks that I put together for potential leads and a Q&A video below.
I recently joined the WSO team in September to run Wall Street Mentors, and our goal is to provide the members of WSO the ability to receive personalized job search help, mentoring, interview prep from professionals that have 10+ years at top finance firms (Goldman Sachs, Bain Capital, Morgan Stanley, McKinsey, etc.).
Since joining, I've been working on compiling a comprehensive list of investment banks to help WSO members that are trying to identify the right investment banks and/or aggressively network. I started with a list of ~1,200 banks exported from CapitalIQ, and I whittled it down to what I thought seemed to be the top 200.
For groups 1&2, I simply provide a link to the bank's career website. Perhaps the most valuable part of this list is the information I provided for group 3. For this group, I went onto the website of each bank and tried to gather as much information as possible:
Website Office Locations Senior Member at the Firm Email address Phone # (many of them are direct dials so be ready if you call!)
If you are seeking to expand your job search to regional boutiques, this list is a great place to start the process.
It was no small task going through this list, so I'm sure that there's plenty of room for improvement. Please let me know if I missed any banks, included outdated information, etc. I'd love input to improve this list.
If you want some help from an experienced investment banking professional, you should check out Wall Street Mentors. Feel free to email our team at [email protected] with any feedback on this list or requests for help with your job search or to see if any of our mentors would be a good match for you.
Also, if you want to see the banks in your location, you can simply use the "search function" and type in your city's name while still on this forum.

Attempts to be friends with/be in a relationship with a model? Its pretty well known that one of the buzz phrases on this site with reference to high finance is "models and bottles." I am just wondering what experiences you have all had trying to hang out/ be in a relationship with a model. Did you fail or succeed?
Is a big 4 internship a complete joke?I am currently interning at a bank the summer before my final year of undergrad, and have many peers working internships for the big 4. I have heard stories of them getting paid 30/hr for doing absolutley no work, getting to "work" from home whenever they want, and some even got this...

Renewable Energy PE OverviewHey folks. Spent a lot of time as a ghost on these forums back when I was trying to figure out what I was doing - figured I'd give back a little for anyone who's looking at the renewable energy infra/project finance space, with specific emphasis on the buy side.
Would You Want Paternity Leave?I am a girl and I often hear people talk about wanting to stay home with the baby. Makes sense to me when your child is a new born and you are in the healing process even though I am a workaholic.
Would any of you want paternity leave? Have you taken it yet? Do you think that it should be...
