McKinsey covid bonus
Heard McKinsey is getting a covid bonus. Anyone else know specifics? Interested to heard how this compares to the ones in ib.

Varies but think 10-20% with a base adjustment for some.
Currencies might be adjusted, but US and Western EU offer a total of ~10K for juniors and ~30K for EM split in two. One tranche now, one around October and pro-rata based on when people joined (i.e. only gets 100% if they were employed at M during the full pandemic).
We'll see what the others do...

heard it that it was not going to be pro-rated. Everyone gets it, even recent hires. Would be an interesting move if that’s true. Would’ve expected to be pro-rated like you said.
Was this in response to BCG?
No, BCG only did that for people who are managers and above. McKinsey did it for managers and below.
