The MBB all have something similar(or at least I know Bain and McK do). Had a casual acquaintance be identified for the McKinsey one and I was in a Bain "consulting crew." (Ended up getting the job at BCG though lmao)

Essentially they're a way to identify and target prospective strong candidates offer them time to speak to an actual employee, and get a deeper insight on the information game that is the case interview process.

You can also leverage it to get a boost in networking through being able to ask to be introduced to others at the firm after you build rapport. So it means they like your profile, not that you're a lock. Of my "crew" 2/6 got a job at Bain.(4/6 of us ended up with any MBB offer including Bain)

For context we were advanced degree candidates.so part of the idea was to fill knowledge gaps for students who may not have been prepped by business schools.

Is it safe to assume that i am guaranteed an interview? I am an undergraduate finance major. Also, is McKinsey rolling? The deadline is late August so will I interview after the deadline, or before?
