Incoming BA to Mckinsey NA. Because of the recession, is it possible that Mck will push back start dates? I just filled out the start dates survey, but am worried of getting pushed back to Jan like some people had in 2020.

From what I’ve heard it’s possible but unlikely. I also just filled out the survey and selected a close start date in case the economy gets worse.
Worst case I’m fine with them pushing my start date as long as they don’t layoff lol. I kind of had the opposite thinking, hoping that the economy will be better by January.
Also, in my survey, it didn’t ask me to rank my preferences for start dates.  It just asked are you able to start in X month for every month from June to February. So I said yes to every month lol and I guess it’s up to them when they want me to start. Was your survey like that too?
