Moving from Credit Research at BB to Consulting

Hi WSO community, I currently work in credit research in London at a BB and will likely move to Frankfurt next year (am native German). Just as a background: after uni in the US (non-core, but top 20-ish), I started at the same BB in the US in Wealth Management (WM), moved to London and continued working in WM (but a more technical role) before then moving to credit research in the IB at the same BB >1 year ago. I potentially plan on moving to Frankfurt next year (again, am native German) and was considering:

1.) Given the above, how do you see the chances of moving to a top consulting firm (management or strategy) in Frankfurt without taking a step a back? Any other advice and or insights on that topic? 2.) If anyone working in Frankfurt can share any advice regarding opportunities, good shops and/or general job search taking my background into consideration, I would highly appreciate it.

Thanks a lot in advance for any insights and help!
