Need Help with Offer Please!

Hey guys need a little help. Finished 4th interview with ACN management consulting expecting to get an offer in next couple days. I am seeing a lot of different things in terms of what I should be asking for in terms of comp so I don't want to come in WAY off when they get back to me. I understand Accenture isnt as prestigious as MBB, but it sames like maybe they try to make up for it with comp. Here's a little of my background:

MSF from 2nd teir followed by 2 years industry exp. (this MC position is for a specific industry group)

The position the "Consultant" level, and I was told by the interviewer it is comparable to an MBA recruit.

Any help on what I should be asking for in terms of total comp, break down of comp would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

It will probably be a set package if they treat you like an MBA recruit. It seems that more than the money what you can negotiate is the level you come into, for example a first year vs. a second year consultant. Honestly you are lucky to come in as an MBA graduate already. I know people that entered an MBB with 2-3 years experience and they started as second year analysts.

The pay breakdown usually goes like this:

--Base salary --Signing bonus --Year end bonus (this might be tied to performance)

This equals total compensation. You might get some perks, but you are better off finding out what those are from future colleagues.

A good question to ask might have to do with career progression, which is tied to how fast your income will rise.
