Networking with recruiters vs associates/consultants
For recruiting from a target school, is it better to network with recruiters, consultants or both? Is there a clear cut answer here?

Consultants - they can case you, give general advice, and they are who will be interviewing you. Recruiters are useless
Definitely network both ways. Infact, recruiting in my opinion is a numbers game, the more people you reach out to, the greater your chance of securing a coffee/zoom chat. Most consultants/partners that you approach tend to be busy with thier own workloads, so do not be disheartened if you are not receiving any replies. As long as you show a passion for the industry and a genuine interest in learning more about the firm, you will be fine. Take care and all the best!
