Non-MBB firms that hire PhD?
I am in a PhD program of a Top10 school (whose Business school is Top 5, but I guess that doesn't matter in my case), and applying for consulting. I am wondering if there are any (non boutique) firms, other than MBB, that hire PhD?

I am a PhD student in engineering at a good school joining a consulting firm this year.
Extra. In general the PhDs who received offers had: + prepared a lot by practicing cases and fit questions, + been leaders on campus (consulting clubs, student council, etc.), and + taken classes at the business school
At my school, LEK held an info-session specifically for PhD candidates.

All of the economic consulting firms (analysis group, brattle group, NERA, etc), although the work will obviously be different from strategy consulting.
