Thoughts on which offer to take?
I am a graduating undergrad student and think I want to be in tech in the long run, but feel like consulting is better for me in the short run.
The job offer at Adobe is in a group that basically does Digital Growth/Marketing Strategy for large partners in order to get them to use Adobe’s products.
The group is relatively new and I’ve seen a lot of McKinsey and BCG alum come to this group as well as a lot of MBAs from M7 schools. They advertise that the group mimics a consulting firm in structure but with purely a focus on these digital/marketing/growth topics.
The role would be right out of undergrad and in the same city. Pay is pretty much the same.
Some things I was hoping to get clarity on as well:
- Is Adobe a well regarded brand name?
- How does Adobe compare to FAANG tech companies?
- How does OW as a brand compare to Adobe especially if I envision myself in a career in Corp Strategy?

If who is still hiring? OW seems like they are wrapping up hiring for FT right now and Adobe has been done for awhile I believe. Hope this helps!
How do you find these types of roles at tech companies that are open to new grads?
They do OCR for these roles, so going to a target helps
I'd personally go with OW -- more of an established, reputable role. They exit well to FAANG.
WSO people are gonna tell you to take OW, no surprise there. But do what appeals to you more, and ask the ex MBB at Adobe about their honest opinion. I’m sure they’ll be biased but it’s better than advice from undergrads Here
