Oliver Wyman Recruiting FT 2021?
Is anyone updated on whether Oliver Wyman is recruiting for post-undergrad Full-Time positions (people who are graduating in 2021)?
The recruiting portion of website currently pops up a window suggesting that they aren't, but it's hard to tell if that is a hard rule or just a general slowing of hiring. In addition, there are still some posting on there for jobs.
They allegedly pushed back some of this year's starts all the way to April 2021. I would not be surprised if they do 0 on-campus FT hiring.
Do you guys think FT recruitment in 2021 for 2022 start will be much better?
Assuming the economy gets better, most likely, as consulting is sort of derivative of the rest of the economy. However, I think OW does a lot travel & hospitality work though so that might make that less certain due to those being some of the most affected sectors right now
OW does a lot of aviation work with the biggest airlines, that will definitely impact them.
Depends on the office. For offices where Aviation is a focus recruitment would be affected, but not for offices like NY.
Still recruiting, FT role will be posted closer to start of fall semester and internship role is up now. No idea on how much smaller the class of 2021 offers will be, although business has not been too bad in U.S.
They have already booked FT recruitment slots at targets this fall.
What does this mean?
Registered for OCR for FT, meaning they are at least planning to take some people as of right now.
