Quick question: coming from a target in the UK, submitted an app to Oliver Wyman's entry-level consultant program in November, invited to take the online tests a couple weeks later, and was given January 18th as the final day to be notified if I'm through to first-round interviews (with interviews on the 20th & 21st in London).
Am going to check with recruiting if I can fish out any details ahead of that deadline, but figured I'd ask here, too: has anyone already heard yay/nay already, or do they tend to push it to the last day?
Rejected - but only after asking the HR a couple to time.
I applied at the same time, took the online test, and wasn't invited to interviews. I have two friends that had round 1 interviews, one of which was rejected after the final round. This was all in late November/early December. Offers went out a long time ago. Unless you're working from a different deadline that I'm unaware of, you're out. I received my rejection email on 16 November. Check your spam.
Hey, thanks for this! I submitted on 26 November and was invited to the tests only on 14 December (I believe the OW application deadline was the 13th?) and as mentioned, interview deadlines mentioned are for later this January.
So at the very least it seems they're still interviewing at this stage—will update if I hear back from HR, but my online status remains under consideration and nothing turns up in spam.
Hey, I applied around the same time and took the tests and got an email saying they would inform me about the outcome on Friday 15th of January, with interviews being held on 20th/21st as you mentioned. Hope that helps.
