One failed university module
Hi all
So I'm thinking about an application to the big three consulting companies, plus some others, and I wanted to ask what the impact of one failed university module would be on my application? I have an otherwise perfect academic record, and currently have a Masters and PhD, and working towards a Medicine degree that I will finish next year. I know some companies ask for a transcript, so it will show on there, and the module has been resat and passed without a problem. Would really appreciate your advice.
Thanks H
Not sure for the US, but that's pretty common in Southern European countries. Many people resit their failed exams (as long as you don't fail like 4 o 5, obviously...) in June, but banks/consulting firms generally only care about your overall average grade.
I really appreciate your reply. I am looking at mostly US applications, but hopefully this won't make too much difference then as I have a 1st class degree overall.
