Hi all! Got an offer for an analyst position at a boutique with the prospect of starting in September after I finish my studies. I've signed my offer letter but HR said I would be signing the official contract closer to the starting date. However, given the current climate I've been getting a bit anxious about my offer getting rescinded, particularly since the start date is so far away. I've also had friends getting offers rescinded a few weeks before starting because the firm decided they could no longer bring in new analysts.
Have you heard of recent hiring freezes / rescinded offers in the consulting industry? Is this something that is likely to happen?
