Prime Brokerage Sales Exit Ops?

I am considering accepting a summer analyst position in Prime Brokerage sales at a BB and was curious as to what the exit opportunities look like? I am at a target school now and want to keep my options open long-term. If I go into Prime Brokerage sales would there be opportunities to move into other asset classes sales desks or to move to a hedge fund eventually? If I were to move to a different sales desk or a hedge fund what type of positions/roles would be open to me?

Am I better off accepting a trading summer analyst offer from a different desk at the same BB?
