Private Credit SA to MBB/Tier 2 FT

Hi all,

Ignore title. I am going to be spending my summer at a middle market PC firm but realized that I want a more comprehensive analysis of companies (operations, strategy, and finance) in my career, leading to my interest in consulting. I was wondering how likely it is to move from this kind of role (and previous roles in IB/VC) to consulting in a full time recruiting cycle. Decent GPA, target/semi-target school for consulting.

Over 90% of the work of the firm is vanilla DL with leveraged and sponsored back companies. Alongside Rx consulting, I was thinking that PE value creation could be an avenue to sell to firms strong in that area.
