project management banking

Hi all,

Im pretty familiar with the role of project management in f500 companies. I imagine their banking counterparts have the same role: manage teams and handle all the basic logistics of the company. All in all, a fairly lax job description.

But I was wondering if the compensation and work day differs between banking and f500. Overall, Ive heard in normal companies, hours range from 40 to 50. Is this true for banking as well? I havent heard too much about the comp, but please tell me if this is a good estimate: 80-110k(1-3yrs)/ 150-200k(4-8 yrs)/ 200-400k(9-15 yrs)/ 400-600k (16-20yrs)/ 700-3000k (20-40yrs exp)???
