pwc mc dubai

Hey!

I'm about to have my final interview for the dubai office (MC graduate job). I live in London, so I dont know much about the consulting practice in the region.

1- Anyone know the salary for a MC grad in Dubai? I heard it was super low.. but given dubai's high cost of living, will the salary be enough to live comfortably?

2- Are all good strategy jobs sent off to strategy&?

3- Does PwC MC offer good exit opportunities compared to other consulting companies in the region?

4- Will PwC MC be an advantage when applying to top mba schools?

5- Is PwC mc in dubai a joke compared to PwC in the eu and the us? will the fact that the job is in dubai hurt my future exit opportunities?

6- Is MC PwC in Dubai a great career start?

Thanks!!

I am with a Tier 2 global strategy firm in Dubai, my answers to your questions are based on what I've heard from colleague or people joined our firm from PwC Advisory practice.

1- Anyone know the salary for a MC grad in Dubai? I heard it was super low.. but given dubai's high cost of living, will the salary be enough to live comfortably? -- I don't know the exact figure but it is lower than what other firms pay.

2- Are all good strategy jobs sent off to strategy&? PwC mostly does the implementation strategy for Strategy& projects

3- Does PwC MC offer good exit opportunities compared to other consulting companies in the region? Don't know

4- Will PwC MC be an advantage when applying to top mba schools? Well, the PwC brand name is there so it should help you in when applying to top MBA programs

5- Is PwC mc in dubai a joke compared to PwC in the eu and the us? will the fact that the job is in dubai hurt my future exit opportunities? Generally PwC is looked as tier 3 when it comes to strategy work, they are well respected for their tax & audit work. Strategy& is a different story, very well respected in the MENA region.

6- Is MC PwC in Dubai a great career start? This depends on your personal situation what are your other options...

Hope this helps
