PwC Pharma & Life Sciences/Management Consulting

Hello everyone,

I am interning with PwC Advisory this summer, within their Tech Consulting department. I was curious when I was assigned to Tech Consulting department, because I really don't have a tech background. Also, I am primarily interest in consulting within the pharma/life sciences industry. So I have two questions for those who have worked in PwC Advisory:

1) How difficult is it to move from Tech Consulting to Management Consulting within PwC?

2) Is easy to be staffed on Pharma/Life Sciences within their Health Industries division? Is it geography dependent, based on which office you're employed at?

Thanks

I can say for Deloitte S&O this is not true; consulting stays within consulting. You may be aligned to strategy but get staffed on a process redesign project, but never on systems integrations or especially audit (honestly, most management consultants are not qualified to do either)

I'm in the same boat, I want to switch to MC from TC and work in Healthcare or Banking and Capital Markets. If you don't mind me asking, what office are you working in?
