Q&A: Former MBB
As I was going through recruitment in college, WSO was a valuable resource to me, and thought it'd be nice to use some of this extra time I have being stuck at home to give back in a way.
My Background
Graduated from undergrad at a semi-target (think UVA/UMich/UC Berkeley/UCLA) several years ago (2015-2017 range), joined a large MBB office (one of San Francisco/New York), and left recently to enter the Tech industry. Was heavily involved in recruiting while in consulting. As noted, I found WSO to be a very valuable resource during recruitment, but also struggled to parse out the valid + objective advice from the inaccurate + biased advice, and found Q&As to be particularly helpful in that regard--so hoping I can provide some value to others. Feel free to ask whatever's on your mind!
