Folks, my first time with a post- bear with me here
I joined a consulting company a few days ago. A partner who pushed my case and got me the job offer is leaving for another company. I have a lunch meeting with him on Friday. I was always interested in that other company and took this offer up coz the other firm didn't make a final offer(i made the the initial rounds successfully).
How do I tell this partner that I am interested in joining the other company without sounding like I dont appreciate my current job?
