Recruiting - Diversity Question
Throwaway account here.
So I've recently scored an on campus interview with a major consulting firm. Shortly thereafter their campus diversity representative reached out to me. I am not a diversity candidate and don't recall having 'checked the box' during the app cycle. Should I make sure this is clear for the representative? Or just take a phone call and let it go from there? I'm not sure whats more appropriate, I don't want to bring the topic up if its a non issue but don't want to mislead them on the other side.
If you didn't click the box you don't need to worry and don't need to bring it up. If you're not a minority / 'diverse' there shouldn't even be a question on whether or not you clicked the box? Confused here.
