Rejoining McKinsey

Hey peeps, I've heard that some McKinseyites leave, then rejoin a couple years later. If I want to do that, do you know whether I have to "start over" in terms of the rigorous application process? Do I get any credit for being ex-McK?

I was accepted in late 2010 and joined in Feb 2011, as an "Expert". I've done a couple other jobs since; what do you think the chances would be of rejoining, and how would you advise going about it?
