Reneging - Accepted an offer with strategy division of a large consulting company

Hi everyone, I would appreciate your input on my current situation. Earlier this school year (I am an Ugrad), I accepted an offer with the strategy division of a large consulting company (Accenture/Deloitte). However, an opportunity came up for a position at a smaller (elite, but not MBB) strategy firm and I managed to get an offer. Right now I am leaning towards signing with the strategy firm for a number of reasons and I was wondering what everyone's thoughts are on reneging on the bigger firm.

Thank you in advance for for the help

is there any chance someone will sabotage your offer?

the risk of reneging is that someone from Firm Reneged will contact someone from Firm Accepted and you'll be fired. do you know the likelihood of this happening?
