Resume and Profile Feedback

Hi all,

I am senior at a non-target school (top 200 in US, 30,000 students, one BCG Consultant alum from what I can tell on LinkedIn) recruiting for full-time. My school is a satellite school (semi-target parent university). BCG visits the main campus and I am eligible to attend, but I do not have access to their career system (attempting to obtain it).

I am having dinner with that alum and have several other connections with Associates at BCG that I am continuing to develop. I am currently participating in BCG's Summer Sessions for prospective Associates. I also have a connection with someone at my internship company that spent 2 yrs as a Sr. Manager at ACN and 4 yrs as a director at a boutique.

My cover letters highlight my interest in education and experience in operations.

I would appreciate a realistic assessment of my profile, any feedback on my resume, and general suggestions: Resume Link

With some minor tweaks (i.e. nobody gives a shit that you were personally enlightened by your diversity workshop, etc.), you have the profile of someone who breaks in from a non-target.

Formatting note: for multiple positions at the same firm, break out your accomplishments by role so it’s easier to follow.

Also, most of your bullets are good, but some of them have lists of redundant verbs that don’t communicate any additional information.
