RX Consulting to RX Banking Help
For background, I am two-years out of school. Went to a target. Currently in an RX Consulting group at a T3/T4 shop (I guess?). It's not Big Three, but I've worked on some notable company-side engagements during my time. I want to try something else and I am thinking about RX Banking - how do I approach this? For the record, I barely interviewed for my current firm and haven't really gone through any formal recruiting in my life. Do I just wait for recruiters to reach out / reach out to recruiters and then study for interviews? Any general advice?
Got a couple of questions to clear up your situation, bc I'm a bit confused.
Add M3 to front of T2 they’ve been active.
Usual avenues would apply of (I) You applying directly via LinkedIn, Company Website, etc, (II) Respond to reach outs from HH (i.e. Sage Search, SG), (III) Respond to reach outs from HR of banks.
What draws you to banking, besides it being something new? Does your team not dabble in 363 sales, or more transaction oriented work?
More money, and I view it as a better stepping stone to private equity or credit.
