Scam Alert
This is a scam alert.
It's a beijing based firm called Dayue Consulting.
I was arranged a dinner interview with the director, he never showed up, and is m.i.a. now not answering calls.
It's not like I signed anything, but he wasted three months of my time, quite a few data bytes on my BB, phone bills, and didn't keep his end of promise.
The firm is trying to branch out to LA and the office is supposedly under construction.
The job description is supposedly Wealth management, M&A, preliquidity succession, risk assessment, etc.
If the firm gets to you or you get to the firm,
Just remember that you're better off ignoring them.
just warning my fellow bankers/consultants because time is precious especially to us.

Without being able to read Chinese, I am 99% certain that is an engineering consultancy just from looking at the website... so I'm going to go ahead and say you were the one wasting THEIR time. Don't get in such a fucking huff about it, if that was the best you could get it's not like your time is really that important after all
i'm for considering the fact that the guy that "stood you up" is a director. he's probably pretty busy himself, and your friend might not be important enough for him to actually feel obligated to meet some nobody (no offense)
