Six Sigma Cert for Lateraling into MGMT Consulting?

What do you guys think of getting the six sigma green belt designation and using that to lateral my way into a higher tier consulting job?
From the outside in, it seems doable but slow; however, it will be cheaper than an MBA and can even help post MBA recruiting. Again, from the outside in.
I've participated in a green belt level project that lasted 3 months and I recall the material being pretty easy as long; you just need to think about the problem and make sure you're addressing it properly each step of the way.
Thoughts?
Doubt it will be a deciding factor
