UCLA Econ vs UC Berkeley Econ

I'm looking to do consulting, but I'm a first year transfer and the UC system requires you to transfer in as a junior. I know UCLA will give me an extra quarter no questions asked, so that gives me a summer that I lose if I go to Berkeley. Berkeley will most likely not have an extra semester for me. Which is best?

Adam had experience in finance and consulting which was why I wanted to meet with him. He talked about why he made the change from finance, what really motivated him and how I can learn of it. We talked about the importance of building a strong foundation, as Adam mentioned that I seemed quite lost in terms of where I wanted to go. He told me some useful exercises and actions to take in preparation of our next meeting in order to better position myself as a top candidate. I really appreciated how relatable he was and how he shaped his responses to my story.”

I really appreciated his industry expertise and the many actionable takeaways he provided.
