Valuations > Portco CF > ?

I have one full year of experience at Valuation (Houlihan, Lincoln, Duff, etc.) and going to PE backed Portco to their Finance team. Given the team is very lean (~5 people) my responsibility will be FP&A, Corporate Treasury, and occasional ad hoc projects for Strategic Initiatives. Once I complete ~2 years at the next firm, will I have a decent shot at Operational Consulting positions, like CFO service? Thank you for all the replies in advance. Any advice is appreciated.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, you'll be 3 years of total work experience, so I don't think you'll be at the CFO position, or even controller, yet. You'd probably need more pure accounting experience and/or a CPA to have a more well-rounded background. I'm sure you could move up the FP&A side. Probably could do IB although would need to come in as first year analyst.
